SuXXXessssss....
the test to begin screening for positive controls.. worked.. after only a total of 2 set backs.... I'm either (A) getting lucky, (B)being very cautious, (C) getting wonderful instrucion, or (D) all of the above... i say D.. hehe
USJ - aka Universal Studios Japan..... very very VERY much like USF (florida) except that there is no Snoopy section and the parades you see here include a whole float for Sanrio's Hello Kitty and Sesame street... Everyone still loves sesame street and snoopy here!! yaaaay... oh and the stores have WAAAY cuter things.. they even have a 'cute' ET version.. it really is cute!!! But of course, the prices are equally as expensive as in the US.. bwaaah.. sux! Also unfortunately, there aren't as many actual rollercoasters.. just more of a themed type deal.. *shrug* but it was loads of fun cuz i went w/ minako and mizuho and chaos... and minako gets scared really easily .. ho ho ho..

hanabi - in Osaka... so after waking up at 6:45am so we could get to USJ in Osaka by 9am opening time.. and going through long lines and walking everywhere around the park...
we left b/w 5 and 6pm to go to a river in Osaka.. where there was a big hanabi (fireworks) display... and man.. it topped Tenjin matsuri!!!! They had bunnies and this odd cat thing.. which I will try to find what it's called (from a really old cartoon that stil has fresh episodes nowadays) and stars.. and amazing two-toned and multi-faceted and multi-actioned fireworks... just soooo cool... if only it had Disney-type accompanying music then it would be
ZE shit.. but since it's only a full 30 minutes of every firework known to man then it's only
THE shit... ;) have I said how much i heart japan?
So after that crazy day..i totally crashed onto my bed as soon as i opened the door circa midnight.. and even though i woke up the next day to get a
haircut (only place in the world that they actually made my hair straight and silky and it's lasted over 24 hrs) ... i re-crashed around 7pm and woke up today at 6am.... whaaa!!!!
Today I went to
To-kae.. another type of festival.. that consists of lighting lots and lots of candles (within lantern type deals) around Nara area (which if I've not already mentioned, is saturated w/ world history sites)
the end.. b/c i'm so friggin tired..
